Park City is a Stillwater County town of about a thousand people. It sits between the Yellowstone River to the south and the sandstone cliffs to the north that gave its oldest buildings their stone. Interstate 90 runs along the north edge of town and exit 426 is the way in. Before the interstate went through, traffic came this way on US Highway 10, the route that still ties the town east toward Laurel. All of that shows up in the concrete here: original flatwork on the old blocks poured decades ago, and newer driveways and pads on the acreage that has filled in around the edges. Park City runs its own K-12 schools, and the townsite dates to 1882, when settlers renamed a place that had opened as Young's Point four years earlier. It sits at 3,412 feet, high and dry country where the freeze-thaw swing decides how long a slab lasts.
Ostermiller Construction covers Park City from Shepherd, on the far side of Billings, and the town fills the gap in our I-90 run between Laurel and Columbus. The lead work here is concrete driveways and tear-out and replacement, with patios, walks and steps alongside them and asphalt paving for drives and small lots. Estimates are free and happen at your place, anywhere in 59063.

Park City sits on river-valley ground, so what is under a slab changes from block to block. Bottomland toward the Yellowstone holds moisture, and moisture under concrete is what a Montana winter uses to lift it. The older parts of town also have flatwork poured on whatever base was normal at the time, which is why a tear-out usually exposes the real reason a driveway failed.
We build the slab from the ground up. Excavate to material that compacts, lay a gravel base, and set the grade so water leaves the surface. Then the air-entrained mix goes in and the control joints get cut for that pour. Failed slabs get removed and replaced. We do not do mudjacking or slab leveling anywhere, and river-bottom ground is the clearest argument for why.
Exit 426 is the reason Park City is easy work for us. We run this stretch of interstate constantly for jobs in Laurel and Columbus, so a Park City estimate rarely costs a special trip. That routing is what keeps the price sane on a small job, whether it is a set of steps, a garage apron or a section of walk.
Along the old highway and the frontage the work turns commercial: shop aprons, small lots, and the asphalt repair, crack sealing and striping that keep a business surface from becoming a repaving project. Homes on the acreage north and west of town get the other half of the list, including asphalt driveways for the long runs where concrete stops making sense.
