Lockwood sits where I-90 and I-94 come together, with interstate exits at 452 and 455 and two truck stops working the Johnson Lane interchange. That geography sets the spec. A surface that carries tandem axles, hard gate turns and winter chains needs more base and more mat than a lot that only ever sees pickups.
